Well that is a pretty cool discovery, I had no idea. I knew about D.Gray and I'm not surprised about FMA being also done by a woman. Is Shiono Etorouji also a woman? B/c the shota smut on those Square Enix mags really go hand in hand.

And it's amazing how Dorohedoro hasn't scored an anime but has its own line of clothes. That link with the hoodies and shirts reminded me of this:

Is it ?
I´m pretty sure its much costlier making an anime in comparison to a small t-shirt print line.
I think it fits even better, because Dorohedoro is very fashion influenced in my opinion.

I agree, and you can tell Suda does love that manga when you visit the Area 51 clothing store on No More Heroes. It's even got the Magic Users' masks!

Goichi Suda aka Suda 51, creator of Killer7 and more recently on the Wii No More Heroes. No More Heroes has a clothing store named Area 51 and while it's not as cyberpunk and gritty as the clothing on Dorohedoro, it's still punk and it has a bit of a reference to that manga.

Do we have any more information on Hayashida Q? Specifically, I want to know which volumes of BLAME! she worked on and also, what is the name of the art book she collaborated on with Nihei? I only know about Blame and so on. Is that it or is there another one?

I don't know anything about her colaborating on an art book with Nihei, where'd you hear about this? Appart from BLAME! and so on I know Nihei contributed to an art book called Bitche's Life (though the associated illustrations are also present in BLAME! and so on), but other than that I haven't heard of him contributing to anything else.

As for which volumes she helped with, who can say, I don't know if this info is included on the tankubon credits.

BTW: Hayashida Q has illustrated two books, but these are illustrated novels like the original Vampire Hunter D books and not comics. Here's one of them, the other appears to be sold out:

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, Bitches Life is the only other one I had heard much about (other than Blame and so on).

This thread has more images by Hayashida & I think it's where somebody mentioned that they worked together on an art book called "Sketch-book."

Looking at that post on the first page, said art book is actually a novel with illustrations. It was what I linked to in my last post. I wish it was an actual collaboration artbook, or even just a stand-alone Hayashida artbook.

The RAW scans of the latest couple of chapters have been pretty cool.

<3 Natsu, even if her story gets gypped with an ugly spoiler.

All the new chapters were translated by 10sigh, who apparently got tired of waiting for GWR to get off their behinds and catch up. He(she?) did a great job too.

I really love the pacing of this manga. It always feels like all the characters matter even if it's only for a page or two each volume. There is always progress being made in the story, but it's never so much that it gets overbearing and always leaves you wanting more. Kinda how I felt the last volumes of Biomega should have been. Now I can't wait for new chapters though, it'll be almost as painful as the GWR releases.
