During the past year a group of six short episodes was produced. Each episode seemed to be unrelated to others, and in fact they looked more like a 'promo' than a true story.
Does anybody knows if there are plans to make a more complete animated version of the manga?

I haven't heard anything about an anime for it, but there was a movie (live-action or otherwise, who knows) int he works. I heard it was postponed/halted for while though, because Nihei hated the music. He hated the music for the short episodes too, actually. He's into stuff like...*tries to remember* Korn. Which I think would work really well for the Blame world, actually. The psychedelic Sci-fi techno vibish soundtrack for the short animations kind of threw me off for a bit, until I got used to it.

Damn, that would suck if that was true. I didn't think the music for the shorts was genius, but it was quite fitting and of pretty good quality. Korn, on the other hand, is not only somewhere deep in the negative ranges of quality but completely out of place in a BLAME! like universe, in my humble opinion, of course (however hypocritical it may be, considering I actually *liked* them not too long ago... oh adolescence, how embarrasing thou can be).

I don't agree with the KORN soundtrack. I think the weird sci-fi stuff really went well with BLAME!

Logs 6+extra are type of promo for incoming blame movie... Im so late with topic so I guess you allready know that. It is coming on spring this year and look is realy impressive. There are some news that Blame! movie is using same type of animation as incoming Ghost in the Shell: Innocence - but he wount look as much as that - their budget is much, much shorter -_-
But from some screenshot ive seen it looks awesome - there is no resemblance to that short OVAs...
