After reading Blame! and Tsutomu's Snikt! miniseries, I really want to acquire the volumes in English. But, to my knowledge, it hasn't been licensed yet in the States, let alone translated. On the other hand, I've seen a ton of stuff on it on French and German web sites -- has it been licensed over there?
I guess if anyone knew where to buy quality english versions (though it's not like the series makes any more sense in english than it would in japanese, anyway  ) I'd love it if you could reply. That's all.

Yeah... so they're available in German and Japanese, neither of which I speak, unfortunately. It doesn't appear that they're available in English, though. I guess I'll just sit on my money bag, hoping to spend my gold.

maybe they're available in some other language, i heard they're available in spain, but i can't proof that, these are the only ones i was able to find quickly.

That's cool, I didn't really expect anyone to find them anyway. I've been doing some looking around of my own, and it doesn't appear that anyone's licensed them. So I beg the question: for those of you who are buying it, what language are you reading it in? The Omanga translations are very nice, but they're not exactly things I can pass to friends to get them hooked. Then again, i suppose a single burned cd would suffice, but lots of folks aren't into reading comics on their monitor.

I just make do with the Omanga translations until: a) they are licensed and officially published in English or b) My japanese reaches a level that allows me to read manga somewhat fluidly. I can see neither of these happening any time soon so BLAME! is not a high priority in my shopping list (well, nothing is high priority in my shopping list, I'm a bad consumer).

Well, you're not American, so you don't have to spend 20 dollars every day on useless crap like tabloids and fast food. Some of us have responsibilities, you know.

Blame is translated in german, french(the ones I have), italian(poorly I'm told), spanish, chinese, russian and thai.
Pretty much any asian and european language exept english. (sucks, I know) It's a good thing I'm fluent in french since the translation is very well done.
