I was half-expecting Nihei to do something again related to Blame! once Knights of Sidonia was completed, but this teaser still managed to be catch me by surprise! Hopefully a movie will revive interest in the manga?

I want to be excited about this, but after watching the adaptation of Knights-of-Sidonia I'm not so certain. I doubt this will have any of the wonderful weirdness in the Blame log shorts on YouTube. It's likely going to get homogenised and run through various board level filters taking out anything too dark or sinister.

I got that feeling, as well, that this adaptation could end taking out much of Blame's dark atmosphere. I didn't watch Knights of Sidonia yet so I don't really know what changes they could make.
