Yes he is!!! I don't think it has any deeper meaning though, seeing that Killy dosen't really have very many feelings and is almost always concerned with completing his mission.

Killy dose have Prejudices against silicon life and cyborgs though.

But wait. This looks like a bit of a commercial stunt. Maybe Nihei is trying to make BLAME! more popular in Japan.

About that - I just can`t forget look on Cibos face and the way she looked at Killy - when they where started riding in that elevator for 800h. Killy just turned away from her and took something for sleep - just take a look on Cibos face in that picture... :D :D :D

Indeed. But when he was looking for Cibo in the last volume, it seemed to me that it was not just to accomplish his mission.

Cibo looks pretty damn expressionless in that drawing. You cant really see her any way, it's pretty dark in there if you ask me, why would Cibo care about Killy anyway, she probably couldn't even remember him after she fused with a level 9.

Killy is just trying to complete his mission, the whole reason he has to go after cibo is because she has a NetGene. He must preserve it and protect it from ANYTHING. That is the goal of his mission I believe. The only real emotion we see is one of Killy realising the sacrifice that has been made to get the NetGene.

- no, that happened in that elevator before even meeting Dhomochevsky... They all are rather expressionless but they sometimes show some emotions - or I wish to belive so... She made sad face when Killy just sit on the floor and injected that sleeping stuff...
Considering L9 Cibo - she remembers Killy - a little ^^ - when Sanakan shot GBE first time near her she said Killy... so she must have some memory... but indeed, nothing like before...

about Cibos sphere - as I know Killy didn`t know about NT gene child embrio in it... But again...

Since Cibo was retrieving the data stolen by Davineluninvega when the 'Level 9 accident' happened, maybe Killy's only following the only path left to get these informations, even if it doesn't know about the embrio.

Still, I think this there is not just 'professional interest' in Killy's pursuit. By the way, some of the very few emotions we see on Killy's face are related to Cibo (for example in volume 9, after Cibo regained his body from Sanakan when entering Toha). It is not an evident thing anyway ...

A Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu type of show made for Blame would rock the fizzie-hizzo. If only this would be made!

I think, the Ad/Anouncement above is closely related to Niheis newest project, "BLAME gakuen!" , because it means something like "BLAME academy" and it even looks like it.

I just read that on www.anime.de and they also gave a link to a "concept drawing" of it, like they call it:
http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/matic-log/blame%20gn.html[/url]

The whole thing seems quite odd to me. I don't know, if I have to expect more humour of that kind in the new Manga. Perhaps He is tired of doing the totally serious stuff and now makes fun of his own work?
Anyway, I cant't wait, until it comes out and we'll get something new from Nihei!

I just hope that he will not do crap like Fummfou did to Full Metal Panic. First one had great ballance of action, comedy, fun and stuff... the other has nothing except stupid jokes on the same basis... and I realy didnt like that at all... it just sucked...
So thing like this I really cant think of a way that could end up good.
...
I take for example Tessa from FMP - she was smart, cool, cute and adorable. In Fummfou she acted like stupid horny idiot and everything connected to her only ended up with ecchi or stupid.
Now - Cibo is smart, cool, cute and adorable... See my point? -_-
...
And that for an exchange of 2h beautyfull long play movie trough Blame! world... I just cant be happy about that... but wiell see... :(

I like how Dhomo is being punished, holding out the buckets of water at his sides.

Heh, it would be nice to see if he plans to link up Killy with the poster of him in Noise, or if its just for fun. As a one-off, it would entertain BLAME! fans, but if it were to continue it might lose the original dark endlessness of the Megastructure, and the whole point of BLAME!.

Up to now, it is difficult to find humor in Nihei's works (maybe something in Snikt), so I really wonder how is he going to manage this.

And even if turns out in a nice work, I preferred a lot more to see some side story set in Blame universe.

I've just read through it, its not very long.

The artwork is all in colour \0/
Its quite funny seeing the usually emotionless blame characters portrayed like this.
The characters look cute in their uniforms.
Nice humour too.

Read it, thanks to some friend getting me the torrent file, and I like the subtle relationship between Pcell and Dhomochevsky.
